Road Race Learning Curve

Following the disappointment of the cancellation of the Hetton Winter Criterium due to snow, riders were met with cold, damp conditions at Ashbourne's Darley Moor Circuit for this Regional B race.

The race proved to be a steep learning curve for Airedale Olympic's Hamish Robertshaw as the high pace and circuit's tight corners caused a strong yo-yo effect in the bunch.  Hamish said "my position at the back from the start was hard to hold given the repeated sprints, but overall I just didn't have the legs - more training required!"
