The Ride was to be Clapham, but that's a long ride in the expected wet weather.

So we decided on trying Hellifiled station cafe that Dave H & I reccy'd last week. As It happens the weather stayed reasonably dry as we managed to skirt most of the showers we could see in the distance, at least on the ride out. Then as we arrived dry & ready for our lunch and a nice cuppa at Hellifield, we find the cafe shut for a private function Doh!. Time for a quick picture while we decide our plan of action which is to high tail it back to Gargrave, still dry. We soon warmed up as the log burning fire was in full flame and we satiated our now hugh appetites on good food. Then the inevitable rain struck half way back on the home lerg of the 65 mile ride at average 14.5mph. Bike cleaned and showered ready for dinner and feeling great by 4pm.
